My inspiration for Lime Tree Designs came from a search for bright and colorful childrens' clothing that wasn't covered in cartoons or glitter. Taking my basic sewing skills I created the first pair of Lollipop Jeans in 2004 that both my daughters wore and wore. I started making them for friends, for gifts, made more for my daughters and became a regular at my local fabric store in a never ending search for fabric.
Monogramming and personalization became my next obsession. With no good local source for embroidery, I decided to do it myself! Now, I have to stop myself from personalizing everything!
